Disney makes Cinderella's castle available for weddings

You can turn a Bridezilla into a Disney princess with the news that the world's most popular theme park will now allow weddings in the garden spot in front of Cinderella's castle in the Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World has long been a wedding destination in its lush wedding pavilion at the Grand Floridian Resort and other spots around the Disney hotels, but until now had never made the castle available as a wedding spot.

As expected, the package is a princely sum. It requires a venue fee that starts at $2,500, and custom experiences begin at $12,000. Premiere locations such as the Magic Kingdom, with a completely customized ceremony and reception for 100 guests starts at $75,000.

But what does the couple get to live happily ever after?

"Trumpeters herald a bride's grand entrance down Main Street, U.S.A. aboard Cinderella's glass coach or horse-drawn carriage, as ceremonies are staged in the morning hour just after the official 'rope drop' at the park entrance.
